Job summary

UFP Industries is seeking a warehouse associate to maintain cleanliness and organization in the storage area. You will load, unload, and move products manually, following safety guidelines, and handle picking tasks from paper lists without forklift use.

Responsibilities include accurate quantity recording, labeling, and ensuring proper packaging for transport. Reading work orders and product identification from labels are essential daily tasks in this role.

Qualifications

• Entry level, no experience required.
• Ability to read and interpret work orders.
• Must have knowledge of custom store fixture industry and receiving.
• Ability to clearly identify product from package labels.

Responsibilities

• Accurately count and record quantities so proper inventory transactions can be made.
• Identify materials moved matching descriptions on documentation.
• Ensure labeling disciplines are followed and product numbers are up to date.
• Ensure bulk packed materials are boxed, taped, wrapped, and prepared for safe transport.
• Locate, identify, label and pick required materials from printed pick lists.
• Pick and pull daily orders without forklift assistance.
• Use a camera to document inbound and outbound load conditions and quality issues.
• Use basic hand tools for opening/closing crates and basic assembly tasks.
• Read and understand written pick lists.
