Job summary

Haemonetics is seeking a Material Handler to perform raw material movements and related duties following standard procedures, ensuring promptness and accuracy. The role emphasizes safety, quality compliance, and efficient warehouse operations to support manufacturing workflows.

Responsibilities include dispatching materials for work orders, maintaining inventory accuracy, assisting with special projects, and participating in environmental initiatives.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent, required.
  • 1 year of experience in manufacturing or warehouse environment.
  • Prior/Current forklift training/certification, preferred.
  • Computer literacy, required. (Microsoft programs)

Responsibilities

  • Acknowledge and comply with the environmental policy and participate in environmental programs to meet objectives.
  • Assist others by performing special projects and assignments.
  • Comply with QSR, ISO and all applicable regulations and procedures.
  • Maintain data accuracy and integrity; ensure secure, confidential handling of information; stay updated in knowledge; ensure compliance with laws and standards; maintain safe environment.
  • Dispatch raw material for manufacturing work orders and perform material transactions with accuracy.
  • Perform warehouse activities by following procedures and instructions.
  • Ensure inventory accuracy by processing material transactions for receiving and issuing materials.
  • Provide timely responses to internal and external customers to ensure optimal service.
  • Maintain clean, organized warehouse space and maximize storage efficiency.
  • Maintain positive relationships with suppliers through professional daily interactions.
  • Maintain label control records and verify expiration dates of labels.
  • Maintain records/reports supporting job functions.
  • Attend workshops/trainings to maintain technical knowledge.
  • Maintain vehicles (trucks/forklifts) and report defects; complete daily inspections.
  • Maintain warehouse areas and raw material inventory; store, locate and protect material.
  • Participate in environmental improvement projects to minimize negative impacts.
  • Enter data into computer systems.
  • Move materials between warehouses.
  • Support transporting raw materials and products to/from manufacturing and warehouse areas.
  • Receive material from manufacturing; verify quantity and lot numbers; locate locations and complete transactions.
  • Report discrepancies to coordinator/supervisor for action.
  • Contribute to company goals by ensuring end-of-month/quarter/year activities are completed accurately and on time.
  • Support operations goals by ensuring prompt and accurate material supply.
  • Participate in physical inventories and investigate differences.
