Job summary

The Waterfront Rescue Mission in Fort Walton Beach, FL is hiring a part-time Warehouse Material Handler to join our thrift store team. This role involves receiving donations at the intake area, helping with loading and unloading trucks, and maintaining a safe, organized workspace.

Hours are 25 per week, Monday–Friday, with store operations 9am–6pm. We seek positive, team-oriented individuals who are safety-minded and able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Part-time role with 25 hours per week.
• Experience receiving donations preferred.
• Ability to work in a team and follow safety guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service while assisting customers and donors
• Accept donations according to Waterfront Rescue Mission guidelines
• Assist in loading/unloading Waterfront Rescue Mission trucks
• Practice a team approach for maximum productivity
• Ensure a clean/clutter free work environment at the end of shift
• Ensure quality control of incoming donations per WRM guidelines
• Follow all aspects of safety guidelines ensuring all issues are corrected or communicated to Management

We have a position open for a Warehouse Material Handler in our warehouse.This is a part time position working 25 hours per week receiving donations at the intake area. This position will also remove waste/recycled items and may process recyclables according to Waterfront Rescue Mission guidelines. Store hours are Monday - Friday 9am - 6pm and closed on Sunday.
