South Bay Sand Blasting & Tank Cleaning, Inc. in Washington State is seeking a dependable Warehouse / Materials Coordinator to support our operations.

This full-time role (Mon-Fri, 6:00 AM–2:30 PM) focuses on inventory control, job staging, and coordinating material and tool deliveries for field crews. The ideal candidate is organized, hands-on, dependable, and able to thrive in a fast-paced industrial environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record.
• Previous warehouse, inventory, construction, industrial, maritime, or logistics experience preferred.
• Basic computer skills (spreadsheets, email, inventory records).
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to lift and carry approximately 50 pounds.
• Indoor/outdoor work in varying weather; ability to operate or learn pallet jacks/forklifts.

Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, organize, and store incoming tools, materials, equipment, and supplies.
• Maintain an organized and clean warehouse, tool room, and storage areas.
• Track inventory levels and notify Purchasing or Management when materials need to be reordered.
• Issue and receive tools and equipment to employees and maintain accountability.
• Assist with tracking damaged, missing, or out-of-service tools and equipment.
• Stage materials, tools, PPE, and equipment for upcoming jobs and field crews.
• Coordinate deliveries and pickups of materials, tools, equipment, and supplies.
• Assist with loading/unloading company vehicles and delivery trucks.
• Maintain records of material receipts, transfers, and job-specific equipment.
• Verify deliveries against packing slips, purchase orders, or internal requests.
• Coordinate with Purchasing, Production, QA, Safety, and management regarding material needs.
• Assist with local vendor pickups and deliveries as needed.
• Help maintain company vehicles, trailers, storage containers, and equipment in order.
• Perform routine warehouse inspections and address housekeeping/safety/inventory issues.
• Support periodic inventory counts and audits.
• Assist with general yard and warehouse housekeeping as required.
