Job summary

MillenniumSoft Inc in Sumter, SC is seeking a Material Handler 1 for a 3-month assignment. The role involves palletizing material, stacking boxes, and operating pallet jacks with potential forklift training.

Typical hours are 8:00am–4:00pm, Mon-Fri with possible Saturdays. Duties include RF-based order processing, packing, labeling, and maintaining a safe, clean warehouse while adhering to GDP/SOPs.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED or 1 year of relevant experience required.
• Good verbal communication and ability to multitask.
• Able to work in fast-paced distribution environment.
• Experience with Walkie Ryder (motorized Pallet Jack) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Process customer orders including scanning bar codes, picking and labeling boxes.
• Pick and pack orders and ensure accuracy with RF devices.
• Pallet/Case picking and pallet building; ship packaging and dock handling.
• Maintain clean work area; follow GDP and SOPs.
• Complete RF device training to obtain profiles and use RF scanners.
• Assist with dock manifest duties and pallet movement as needed.
