Job summary

MillenniumSoft Inc. in Covington, GA is seeking a Material Handler for a 12-month contract. Work hours are Monday through Friday, 10:30am to 7:00pm, with overtime potential. The role involves palletizing boxes, breaking down pallets, and maintaining records as needed.

The position requires a high school diploma or equivalent and 0–1 year warehouse experience, with ability to read, write and perform basic math in English. Will operate in a metrics-driven environment under general supervision.

Qualifications

• 0–1 year warehouse experience or related training.
• Obtains licenses/training, as needed.
• Basic skills in material handling and logistics.
• Effective communication that coworkers and supervisor can understand.
• Ability to read, write, interpret and perform basic math in English.
• Ability to operate in a metrics-driven environment.
• General computer skills.

Responsibilities

• This is a physical job of palletizing boxes and breaking down large pallets into smaller pallets.
• May maintain records.
• Develops skills in basic tasks, techniques and procedures within one skill area / process / method.
• Applies basic knowledge and skills to complete routine tasks consisting of prescribed steps.
• Works within clearly defined SOPs and / or scientific methods and adheres to quality guidelines.
• Works under general to limited supervision.
