Job summary

Viking Electric in Oshkosh, WI is hiring a Warehouse Material Handler for the first shift (10am-7pm). The role focuses on moving and packing products, loading trucks, and maintaining accurate inventory with training provided for forklift and scanning tools.

You'll work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and receive a comprehensive benefits package alongside hourly compensation of $19.00–$24.00 per hour. This full-time position seeks reliable teamwork and safety-minded individuals.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to lift, push, and pull objects weighing up to 50 lbs regularly, or up to 75 lbs with assistance.
• Ability to stand and walk for much of your shift.
• Basic math skills (add and subtract numbers).
• Willingness to learn how to operate equipment like a forklift and handheld scanning device (training provided).
• Ability to work in various temperatures within the warehouse.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without VISA sponsorship now or in the future.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload trucks and move boxes/material in a safe manner using a forklift, pallet jack, handcart, reach trucks, or other device (no experience required - training provided).
• Count, check and record items coming into or being shipped out of the warehouse.
• Use a handheld device to scan barcodes and labels to track inventory levels.
• Assemble, package, label, stack, palletize and route material for delivery or storage.
• Help keep products free from damage and organized.
• Follow and promote procedures that keep the warehouse safe and secure.

Warehouse Material Handler

Location: Oshkosh, WI

Job type: Full Time

Schedule: 10am - 7pm, Monday -Friday (first shift)

Hourly pay: $19.00 - $24.00/hr

What You'll Do

As a warehouse associate, you're key to driving a great customer experience by getting products from our warehouse to our customers. As orders come in, you help fill them accurately by finding the right products and getting them packaged and onto our trucks. You'll work in a positive, fast-paced environment with a supportive team.

You will...
