Job summary

Mountain West Windows and Doors is seeking a Material Handler to receive, store, move, pick, stage, and load products while maintaining inventory accuracy and safety. The role supports on-time deliveries and requires following safety procedures and using proper PPE.

Responsibilities include operating forklifts after training, preparing orders for delivery, reporting discrepancies, and maintaining a clean work area. A valid driver’s license may be required for certain routes.

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED preferred or equivalent education or experience.
• Warehouse/material-handling or delivery experience preferred.
• Ability to read and understand work orders, shipping information, measurements, and basic inventory information.
• Basic math, computer, and scanning skills, or ability to learn.
• Ability to communicate effectively for workplace safety, teamwork, and customer service.
• Ability to obtain required equipment certifications and training.
• Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record when driving is an assigned job function.

Responsibilities

• Receive, unload, inspect, move, store, pick, stage, and load products according to work orders, load lists, and shipping instructions.
• Verify product, quantities, and order accuracy; report damage, shortages, and discrepancies.
• Maintain accurate inventory through scanning, system transactions, cycle counts, and required quality audits.
• Safely operate forklifts, cherry pickers, carts, and other material-handling equipment after required training and authorization.
• Prepare products and parcels for customer delivery or third-party shipment.
• Protect products from damage and maintain a clean, organized work area.
• Follow all safety procedures, use required PPE, and promptly report hazards or safety concerns.
• Drive company vehicles when assigned and qualified under the Company's Fleet Safety Policy.
• Support continuous improvement and perform other related duties based on business needs.
