Job summary

SMS InfoComm Corporation is seeking a Warehouse/Material Handler to inspect, receive, and ship components and equipment in a fast-paced warehouse environment. You will manage palletized goods, sign for shipments, and assist in unloading, with an emphasis on accuracy and safety.

The role requires basic math, reading comprehension in English, and basic computer skills. Candidates should be able to stand for long periods, lift up to 25 pounds, and work daytime shifts with potential overtime as

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to read, do basic mathematics, understand and respond to written and verbal instructions in English for safety and work instructions.
• Requires basic computer skills. May access outside carrier programming.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, receive, sort, and ship component parts and equipment.
• Receive shipments and sign paperwork upon receipt.
• Assist in unloading process for palletized goods and single carton deliveries.
• Ensure freight has been correctly shipped with all required accompanying documentation.
• Maintain accurate records and assist in inventory control.
