Job summary

Ryder is hiring a Warehouse Material Handler in Laredo, Texas. This role supports distribution across the US with entry to mid-level responsibilities in warehousing and material handling. Weekly pay, on-the-job training, and comprehensive benefits are provided.

You will work in a safety-first environment with state-of-the-art equipment, handling auto parts and retail products while meeting daily performance goals and maintaining accuracy in all paperwork and processes.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• One year or more related warehouse and/or powered industrial truck experience preferred.
• Valid Forklift Operator's License certified.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as a member of a team.
• Ability to be a team player and able to work within a diverse work environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform warehouse tasks: loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, and cycle counting.
• Operate forklift and support accuracy with tote induction and staging of products.
• Process day-to-day warehouse paperwork (picking sheets, returns, bills of lading).
• Provide technical and maintenance support for automated packing systems during shifts.
• Perform duties within contract performance guidelines and adapt to changing requirements.
