Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. in Jacksonville, FL is seeking a Permanent Full Time Warehouse Material Handler to join our team. You will work with state-of-the-art equipment in a safe supply chain environment.

This role offers weekly pay at $18.50 per hour, on-the-job training, comprehensive benefits after 30 days, PTO, a 401(k) with company match, employee discounts, and opportunities to grow within a supportive team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 1+ year related warehouse and/or powered industrial truck experience preferred.
• Valid Forklift Operator's License certified.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as a member of a team.
• Ability to be a team player and work within a diverse environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform warehouse functions including loading, picking, packing, shipping and forklift operation.
• Adhere to performance measurement guidelines of the contract.
• Ensure accurate picking and packing, auditing, tote induction, staging and loading/unloading.
• Handle day-to-day paperwork in a warehouse environment (picking sheets, returns, bills of lading).
• Provide maintenance support for the automated packing system during core hours.
