Qualifications

• 2-5 years of relevant warehouse or metals handling experience.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Must obtain certification to operate required motorized equipment.
• Clear oral and written communication skills; legible handwriting.

Responsibilities

• Generally responsible for completing basic, routine tasks with detailed instructions.
• Move inventory or equipment, fill customer orders, pull material from racks, unload incoming material, loading trucks and/or customer vehicles.
• Receives, places/returns items into stock inventory locations.
• Pulls and assembles orders based on shipping orders or documentation.
• Tags material for identification and completes required documentation.
• Moves material from receiving or production areas to storage or other designated areas using forklift, side loader, or crane.
• Operates yard truck for loading/unloading trailers.
• Maintains work area in a clean, safe, and orderly condition.
• Sorts and places material on rack, shelves, or in bins.
• Spot checks on inventory and tagging as directed.
• Reports irregularities to supervisor for direction.
• Restocks material.
• May drive non-DOT local deliveries.
• Adheres to safety and quality standards.
