Job summary

Melaleuca in Kansas City, Missouri, is hiring Warehouse Material Handlers to move inventory within the plant, following all procedures and safety rules. This full-time role is located on a non-smoking campus.

Shift Fri-Sun 5:00am–5:30pm. Responsibilities include operating a pallet jack, stocking and counting stock, keeping the dock clean, loading orders, and performing safety inspections.

Qualifications

• Ability to work independently.
• Written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work under stress.
• Standing, sitting or walking for duration of shift.
• Pulling, stretching, bending and lifting during shift.
• Visually inspect warehouse areas.
• Manual dexterity for stocking and lifting.
• Good math skills (add, subtract, multiply, divide).
• Teamwork to achieve maximum performance.
• Efficient and accurate performance of duties.
• Ability to lift 80 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Operates pallet jack and moves inventory per procedures.
• Keeps stock counts accurate and areas clean.
• Loads orders onto pallets and trailers on the dock.
• Performs pre-work equipment inspections.
• Maintains dock area and organizes pallets.
• Distributes materials to various locations as needed.
• Works with Product Delivery Coordinator guidance.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
• Operates a baler.
