Heartland Coca-Cola Bottling Company, LLC in Roanoke is hiring a Full Time 1st Shift Warehouse Material Handler to fulfill customer orders by retrieving and stacking product on pallets, following the Pick Ticket and ensuring safety, accuracy, and efficiency.

Roles involve operating a Powered Industrial Truck (PIT) pallet jack, lifting up to 75 lbs, and collaborating with teammates in a noisy, non-temperature controlled environment.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of safety and efficiency in warehouse operations.
• PIT Pallet Jack certification is required.
• Able to lift up to 75 lbs and move heavy items.
• Good teamwork and sense of initiative.

Responsibilities

• Retrieves and places quantities of Cases of Product onto a pallet as instructed, safe and stable.
• Transports pallets to different areas using a PIT pallet jack safely.
• Assists with warehouse cleanliness and housekeeping as needed.
• Performs daily PIT Checklist and notifies management of issues.
• Corrects mistakes as directed by the Checker regarding product/quantity.
• May perform other duties as assigned.
• Performs miscellaneous activities to support warehouse operations.
