Job summary

Heartland Coca-Cola Bottling Company, LLC is seeking a Warehouse Material Handler in Hanover, MD. The role focuses on fulfilling customer orders by building stable pallets from assigned pick tickets, and moving pallets throughout the warehouse using a PIT.

The position requires reliability in a fast-paced environment with lifting and safety vigilance. Hires for 1st shift with hours 8:30AM–5:00 PM, Monday–Saturday; Hanover location offers growth, benefits, and professional development

Qualifications

Knowledge acquired through up to 12 months of work experience
PIT (Powered Industrial Truck) Certification: Pallet Jack
Ability to lift up to 75 lbs.
Ability to read and interpret computer screen instructions
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Team collaboration and reliable communication
Flexibility with changing schedules

Responsibilities

Retrieves and places quantities of cases of product onto a pallet as instructed by the Pick Ticket while building a stable pallet
Transports pallets using a Powered Industrial Truck (PIT) to different warehouse areas
Supports warehouse cleanliness and housekeeping
Performs daily PIT Checklist and reports issues to management
Corrects mistakes with guidance from the Checker and updates product/quantity accordingly
Performs other duties as assigned to support warehouse operations
