Job summary

RJW Transport, Inc. is seeking a Material Handler in Romeoville, IL to load/unload trucks and outside carriers, pick orders, and store inbound shipments safely.

You will operate forklifts including stand-up reach, cherry picker, and sit-down forklifts, maintain clean working areas, and coordinate with dispatch to ensure accurate shipping and receiving. High school diploma or GED preferred; 1 year forklift experience and certification required.

Qualifications

• Must know how to operate a Forklift, Cherry Picker, and Stand-up Reach Forklift.
• Good communication, problem resolution and people skills.
• Ability to maintain orderly operation of warehouse.

Responsibilities

• Loading/unloading of RJW trucks and outside carriers.
• Picking and moving from 1 lb to 50 lbs or more multiple times.
• Coordinate with dispatch and sales to resolve discrepancies.
• Maintain warehouse area with orderly stacking and housekeeping.
• Spotting of trailers to maintain yard organization and flow.
