Job summary

DHL is seeking a Material Handler in Groveport, OH. The role involves operating powered equipment to move, locate, relocate, stack and count products, plus inspecting inbound and outbound goods for damage and accuracy to customer requirements.

Responsibilities include loading and unloading, put-away, picking, verifying shipments, and performing routine equipment inspections. A high school diploma and forklift experience are preferred, with benefits including paid time off and 401(k).

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent, preferred.
• Six months warehouse experience, preferred.
• Six months forklift operation experience, prefer.

Responsibilities

• Physically load product onto equipment, pallets or totes more than 20% of specified shift.
• Put-away and pick product for shipment or stock. Ensure exact number and type of products are loaded correctly.
• Compare quantity, quality, labeling, and address with the customer’s order to ensure shipments are complete and correct.
• Change equipment battery or LP tank and monitor power source as necessary.
• Verify and report discrepancies such as non-available products and OS&D.
• Maintain the facility and equipment in a neat, clean, orderly fashion and inspect all operated equipment daily.
• Complete daily inspection of equipment.
• Assist in physical inventories.
