Job summary

ABC Supply Interiors is seeking a dependable warehouse associate to pull orders, load trucks, and handle materials. The role involves forklift operation, safety compliance, and efficient inventory management in a labor-intensive environment.

You will receive, organize, and stage materials for delivery, aiding in customer satisfaction and timely shipments. Training and forklift certification are provided as needed.

Qualifications

• Prior experience with building material handling is required.
• 10K forklift experience is preferred.
• Ability to be trained and licensed/certified by ABC Supply Interiors to operate forklift equipment.
• Ability to stand, climb, reach, bend, and twist throughout complete shifts.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 250 lbs with assistance.
• Previous warehouse experience is preferred.
• Knowledge in all applicable building material products is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Pull orders for customers and load orders onto delivery trucks.
• Perform picking and loading duties using a forklift.
• Follow all applicable safety rules and procedures.
• Receive incoming building materials and place into inventory.
• Organize and maintain the warehouse for efficient storage and retrieval.
• Pull material from inventory and stage for pickups and deliveries.
• Maintain inventory records.
• Operate a forklift safely and efficiently.
• Estimate the weight of forklift loads for proper loading.
• Sort products to remove defective material.
• Assist with delivery of materials to customers or jobsites and staging at jobsites as assigned.

ABC Supply Interiors delivers the products and capabilities offered by a national distributor paired with the service and personal touch usually found only in a locally owned business. In this role, you will pull orders for customers and load orders onto our company delivery trucks.
