Ryder Supply Chain Solutions in Lyons, IL is hiring a Material Handler to join a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment. The role includes forklift operation, shipping, receiving, and cycle counting within a fast-paced distribution setting.

You will work a Thursday-Saturday 6:00 pm–6:00 am schedule with every other Wednesday, and benefit from weekly pay, comprehensive medical/dental/vision and 401(k) plans, plus paid training and PTO.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• One year or more related warehouse experience preferred.
• Valid forklift operator certification preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Able to work in a diverse environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform warehouse functions including loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, and cycle counting.
• Adhere to performance guidelines and contract requirements.
• Ensure accuracy in picking/packing, auditing, tote induction, staging, and loading/unloading trucks.
• Maintain day-to-day warehouse paperwork (pick sheets, returns, bills of lading).
• Provide maintenance support for automated packing systems during core shift hours.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Hourly Pay: $22.00 per hour
• Additional Pay: $1.00 per hour when assigned to third shift
• Schedule: Thursday - Saturday 6:00 pm - 6:00 am and every other Wednesday

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• One (1) year or more related warehouse and/or powered industrial truck experience preferred
• Valid Forklift Operator''s License certified
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as a member of a team

• Responsible for the accurate picking and packing, auditing, tote induction, staging of products and loading and unloading of trucks
• Responsible of dealing with day to day paperwork in a warehouse environment (i.e. picking sheets, returns, bills of lading, etc.)
• Provide technical and maintenance support for different aspects related to the automated packing system during the core shift hour of production
• Performing duties within performance measurement guidelines of the contract
• Performs other duties as assigned.
