Job summary

WorkSolved Staffing is hiring a Material Handler for 1st Shift in the Walker area. These temp-to-hire positions support a busy warehouse, with opportunities for advancement from the start.

You will work in a fast-paced environment, loading/unloading trailers, stocking materials, and assisting with pallet racking and clean-up tasks. Pay starts at $19.00 per hour with a 30-minute lunch and two 10-minute breaks.

Qualifications

• Experience (>1 yr) loading/unloading trucks and trailers with pallets up to 10 feet.
• Able to operate 6000 lb forklift with 72” forks and extensions.
• Strong work ethic and willingness to cross-train in different operations.

Responsibilities

• Load/unload trailers and move materials by hand or using forklifts.
• Assist off forklift duties like putting up pallet racking and clean-up tasks.
• Receive materials at dock and record information in computer system.
• Label materials and ensure correct container labeling.
• Deliver materials to production and packaging areas to avoid shortages.
