Job summary

Olympic Metals is seeking a warehouse team member responsible for movement, storage, packing and tracking of materials within the warehouse. You will operate forklifts, read work orders and follow safety protocols to ensure accurate order fulfillment and inventory control.

The role involves standing, walking, bending, and lifting up to 70 lbs, with daily plant operations and safety procedures. Candidates will be trained and must wear PPE as required.

Qualifications

• Must perform all work duties as safely as possible.
• Gloves, safety glasses and steel toe boots must be worn when required.

Responsibilities

• Stock inventory using a forklift/Raymond.
• Pulling orders accurately and loading/unloading flatbed and box trucks.
• Read and understand work orders, tape measures and calipers.
• Maintain safe work areas and follow safety procedures.
• Process and accurately keep track of inventories on Stelplan Computer Program.

Job Function

Must perform all work duties as safely as possible, following all safety procedures and rules. Gloves, safety glasses and steel toe boots with metatarsal guards must be worn when required. (Boots must be worn during your shift)Bending, reaching, pulling, twisting and lifting will be performed during your shift. Must be able to life 70 lbs. Working in the warehouse stocking inventory using a forklift/Raymond. Pulling orders accurately, reading and understanding work orders, tape measures and calipers. Loading and offloading flatbed and box trucks using slings, fork extensions, boom and other loading and unloading equipment. Everyone must partake in daily plant operations and safety procedures. Process and accurately keep tack of all inventories on Stelplan Computer Program. Understand how to operate machines such as the shear, chop saw, band saw. Stacking and banding metal on skids and pallets. Assist with company deliveries and routing of delivery trucks. Keep all work areas clean!!!

Compensation Range

The anticipated compensation for this position is USD $23.00/Hr. - USD $23.00/Hr. depending on experience, qualifications, and location.
