Job summary

Storm-Search- is seeking a Warehouse Material Handler for the 3rd shift in Rhode Island to ensure timely material delivery to production lines. You will operate forklifts, scan inventory, and move materials between warehouse areas while maintaining accurate stock levels.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED and 1+ year of warehouse experience, with manufacturing and forklift experience preferred. This position is on-site with potential cross-training across warehouse functions.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Perform warehouse functions to ensure production areas have the materials needed to maintain efficient operations.
• Stock, locate, and transfer materials between warehouse, staging, and production areas.
• Operate manual and powered material-handling equipment, including forklifts.
• Use computerized scanning systems to track, locate, and transfer inventory.
• Maintain accurate inventory levels and assist with cycle counts and annual physical inventory.
• Build pallets, verify skid tickets, weigh boxes, and stage materials in designated locations.
• Deliver and stage materials at assembly and production machines as needed.
• Verify caps, spouts, and other materials against production orders to ensure the correct products are being assembled.
• Load materials into assembly/lining machines to support production.
• Clear and move Gaylords, totes, pallets, and other materials to designated areas.
• Keep conveyors, staging areas, aisles, and walkways clear and organized.
• Ensure products and equipment are properly covered to prevent contamination.
• Perform general housekeeping, including sweeping and trash removal.
• Cross-train in various warehouse functions to support team efficiency.
• Perform other duties as assigned based on skills and business needs.
