Job summary

Graybar Electric Company, Inc. in Reno, NV is seeking a Warehouse Material Handler to join the team. You will unload deliveries, receive inventory, store products, and pick/pack customer orders with occasional delivery in a light van.

Responsibilities include operating pallet jacks, forklifts, and push carts; maintaining safety and cleanliness, and performing daily safety checks. Shift is Mon-Fri, 8:00am-5:00pm; compensation is $23.00/hour with robust benefits and employee ownership culture.

Qualifications

• Experience in warehouse operations preferred.
• Physical tasks like lifting up to 70 lbs required.
• Able to operate PPE and follow safety rules.
• Good attendance and dependable work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Operate warehouse equipment (pallet jacks, forklifts, push carts).

• Store products in designated locations and record in system.
• Select and pack orders; occasional delivery in light vehicle.
• Maintain a clean, safe warehouse and perform daily safety inspections.

Job description

As a Warehouse Material Handler, you will work with the team to ensure products get where they need to be, unload delivery vehicles, receive inventory, store product, and select and pack customer orders. In this role you will:

• Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks, forklifts and push carts
• Unload and accurately receive deliveries
• Store product in specific location and note in system
• Select and pack customer orders and at times deliver customer orders in light van or delivery vehicle
• Maintain clean warehouse including following all safety procedures and performing daily safety inspections

What you bring to the table:

• Ability to perform physical requirements in a warehouse environment including lifting up to 70 lbs., cutting wire, climbing ladders and staying on the move in various temperatures depending on the location
• Safely operate warehouse equipment and proper use of PPE
• Good attendance and work ethic
• Can perform tasks quickly and accurately
• 2+ years experience preferred
• Minimum 18 years of age required

Shift and Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm

Compensation Details:

• The expected rate of pay for this position is $23.00 per hour
