Job summary

Staffmark is hiring a Warehouse Material Handler in Memphis, TN. Pay rate is $18.50–$20.50 per hour. Shifts: Mon–Thu 5 AM–3:30 PM; Mon–Fri 2 PM–10 PM; Fri–Sun 5 AM–5 PM.

Bring energy and reliability. You’ll load/unload freight, stack merchandise, assist with inventories, and keep safety first in a fast-paced setting. HS diploma or GED preferred; strong teamwork and physical stamina required.

• Physically able to lift up to 30 lbs and stay active on your feet
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven setting
• Reliable, punctual, and safety-conscious
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
• Manually load and unload freight efficiently and safely
• Move product to storage areas with proper material handling equipment
• Assemble merchandise to be shipped; sort, pack, label and check freight
• Assist with displays and other value-added services per customer requirements
• Participate in physical inventories
• General grounds/building maintenance

• Monday – Thursday 5 AM – 3:30 PM
• Monday – Friday 2 PM – 10 PM
• Friday – Sunday 5 AM – 5 PM

Requirements and Job Duties

• High school diploma/GED & warehouse/distribution experience is preferred
• Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately follow instructions
• Physically able to lift up to 30 lbs and stay active on your feet throughout the shift
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven setting
• Reliable, punctual, and safety-conscious
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
• Manually load and unload freight efficiently and safely.
• Provide physical labor to move product to storage areas with proper material handling equipment and efficiently stack and store the merchandise in the appropriate area.
• Assemble various types of merchandise to be shipped. Sort, recoup, pack, mark, and label materials. Check or count freight for accuracy and/or damage and infestation.
• Perform duties needed for assembling displays and other specialty value-added services per the customers’ requirements.
• Participate in physical inventories.
• Performs general grounds/building maintenance
