Job summary

Ryder is hiring for a Storeroom Attendant / Material Handler in Key West, FL. The role involves warehouse duties such as loading, packing, shipping, receiving, and cycle counting, with forklift operation on a fast-paced distribution floor.

Proficiency with MS Office and a WMS system is expected, along with the ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work both indoors and outdoors. Training is provided and a strong emphasis on safety and teamwork is highlighted.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required or preferred.
• Proficiency with MS Outlook, Word and Excel; using scanners and entering orders in a WMS.
• Must lift up to 50 lbs and work indoors/outdoors.
• Forklift operator license required; able to drive safely.

Responsibilities

• Perform warehouse functions: loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, cycle counting.
• Maintain accuracy in picking/packing, aud iting, tote induction, and truck loading/unloading.
• Support automated packing systems and core production shifts.
• Complete day-to-day warehouse paperwork (picking sheets, returns, bills of lading).
• Adhere to performance measures of the contract and safety protocols.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Ryder is immediately hiring a Permanent Full Time Storeroom Attendant / Material Handler in Key West, Florida.

Warehouse Positions Pay Weekly.

• Hourly Pay $18.97 per hour
• Schedule: First Shift Monday - Friday 7:00AM - 3:30PM

We want the right Warehouse Associate to join us at Ryder and work in the Safest Supply Chain Environment with State of the Art Equipment.

• Products Being Handled: Management of inbound products such as bolts, cables, reels, wires, anchors etc.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Strong technical aptitude which includes using Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel, scanners and enter orders into a WMS System
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted
• Must be able to work both indoors and outside

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• One (1) year or more related warehouse and/or powered industrial truck experience preferred
• Valid Forklift Operator's License certified
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as a member of a team
• Ability to be a team player and able to work within a diverse work environment
• Ability to create and maintain professional relationships within all levels of the organization (peers, work groups, customers, supervisors)Able to work within a diverse work environment

Responsibilities

• Performing duties within performance measurement guidelines of the contract
• Responsible for the accurate picking and packing, auditing, tote induction, staging of products and loading and unloading of trucks
• Responsible of dealing with day to day paperwork in a warehouse environment (i.e. picking sheets, returns, bills of lading, etc.)
• Provide technical and maintenance support for different aspects related to the automated packing system during the core shift hour of production
• Performing duties within performance measurement guidelines of the contract
• Performs other duties as assigned.
