Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. in Hutchins, Texas is hiring a Material Handler to join a safety‑driven warehouse team. You will perform loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, and forklift duties, with a focus on accuracy and efficiency in a fast‑paced environment.

This position offers weekly pay, paid training, medical/dental/vision benefits, a 401(k) with company match, PTO from month one, and employee discounts. Shift is B, 4:00 pm–2:30 am, with opportunities for advancement.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 1+ year warehouse and/or powered industrial truck experience preferred.
• Valid forklift operator's license.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Flexible schedule and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Perform warehouse functions including loading, picking, packing, shipping, and receiving.
• Operate forklift and other equipment as required.
• Maintain accuracy in order picking and cycle counts.
• Assist with daily paperwork and warehouse tasks.

Warehouse Positions Pay Weekly

• Hourly Pay: $22.75 per hour
• Shift Differential: $1.50 per hour
• Schedule: B Shift Monday - Thursday 4:00 pm - 2:30 am

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• One (1) year or more related warehouse and/or powered industrial truck experience preferred
• Valid Forklift Operator's License certified

Responsibilities

• Perform warehouse function, which may include loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, and, cycle counting
• Performing duties within performance measurement guidelines of the contract
• Responsible for the accurate picking and packing, auditing, tote induction, staging of products and loading and unloading of trucksResponsible of dealing with day to day paperwork in a warehouse environment (i.e. picking sheets, returns, bills of lading, etc.)
• Provide technical and maintenance support for different aspects related to the automated packing system during the core shift hour of production
• Performing duties within performance measurement guidelines of the contract
• Performs other duties as assigned.
