Job summary

Ryder Supply Chain Solutions in Hagerstown, Maryland is hiring a Permanent Full Time Material Handler in a warehouse environment. The role includes loading, picking, packing, shipping, and forklift operation with a Monday–Friday style schedule (10pm–6am over Sun–Thu).

Weekly pay and comprehensive benefits are offered to support your career in supply chain. The ideal candidate has a high school diploma, at least 1 year of warehouse experience, and a valid forklift license.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• One (1) year or more related warehouse experience preferred.
• Valid Forklift Operator's License certified.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to lift and/or push/pull up to 35 lbs.
• Ability to work on a flexible schedule across shifts.

Responsibilities

• Perform warehouse functions such as loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, and cycle counting.
• Ensure accurate picking, packing, auditing, tote induction, staging of products and loading/unloading of trucks.
• Process day-to-day warehouse paperwork (picking sheets, returns, bills of lading).
• Provide maintenance support for automated packing systems during production hours.

Warehouse Positions Pay Weekly

• Hourly Pay: $21.00 per hour
• Shift premium: $1.50 per hour when working 3rd shift
• Schedule: Sunday-Thursday 10pm-6am

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• One (1) year or more related warehouse and/or powered industrial truck experience preferred
• Valid Forklift Operator's License certified
• Strong verbal and written communication skills

Responsibilities

• Perform warehouse function, which may include loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, and, cycle counting
• Performing duties within performance measurement guidelines of the contract
• Responsible for the accurate picking and packing, auditing, tote induction, staging of products and loading and unloading of trucks
• Responsible of dealing with day to day paperwork in a warehouse environment (i.e. picking sheets, returns, bills of lading, etc.)
• Provide technical and maintenance support for different aspects related to the automated packing system during the core shift hour of production
• Performing duties within performance measurement guidelines of the contract
• Performs other duties as assigned.
