Job summary

Renewal by Andersen is seeking a Warehouse Material Handler for our Boise, ID warehouse. This hands-on role keeps the facility organized, loads and unloads windows, doors, and building materials, and prepares items for upcoming installations.

You will support loading trucks, verify material lists, assist with inventory, and uphold OSHA safety guidelines while collaborating with warehouse and installation teams.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• At least 1 year of warehouse/material handling experience.
• Valid driver’s license with insurable record.
• Must observe safety rules and OSHA guidelines.
• Experience using power tools or similar equipment.
• Basic computer and technology skills.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload windows, doors, and other building materials.
• Unload installation and delivery trucks as needed.
• Prepare and load materials for upcoming installation jobs.
• Verify that material lists are accurate and available.
• Organize and maintain the warehouse.
• Assist with inventory processes with leadership.
• Help unload materials from installation trucks and prepare for jobs.
• Review schedules to ensure materials are ready for upcoming work.

About the Opportunity

We are looking for a Warehouse Material Handler to join our Boise Warehouse team.

This is a hands on role responsible for helping keep our warehouse organized and our installation teams prepared for the work ahead. You will work with windows, doors, and other building materials while assisting with loading and unloading trucks, preparing materials for upcoming installations, maintaining inventory, and keeping the warehouse operating efficiently.

What You'll Do

Warehouse and Material Handling

• Load and unload windows, doors, and other building materials


• Unload installation and delivery trucks as needed


• Prepare and load materials for upcoming installation jobs


• Verify that material lists are accurate and that required materials are available


• Organize and maintain the warehouse based on business needs


• Assist with inventory processes alongside warehouse and installation leadership

Truck and Installation Support

• Help unload materials and waste from installation trucks


• Prepare trucks with the materials needed for upcoming jobs


• Review upcoming installation schedules and ensure materials are properly prepared


• Clean and maintain tarps, runners, canvas drop cloths, and other installation materials


• Drive company box trucks as needed to support business operations

Tools and Equipment

• Safely use power tools and equipment, including drills, miter saws, framing nailers, and other tools as needed


• Follow company safety procedures and applicable OSHA guidelines


• Maintain an organized and safe work environment

Teamwork and Problem Solving

• Work independently while collaborating with warehouse and installation teams


• Identify potential issues and take initiative to help resolve them


• Think ahead and help ensure the warehouse and installation teams are prepared for upcoming work


• Support additional warehouse and operational needs as assigned

Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent


• At least one year of previous warehouse or relevant material handling experience


• Possession of a valid driver's license with an insurable driving record in accordance with company standards


• Ability to observe safety rules, OSHA guidelines, and company safety policies and procedures


• Experience using power tools or similar equipment


• Basic computer and technology skills


• Ability to regularly lift and carry materials weighing up to 75 pounds


• Ability to perform the essential physical functions of the role, including standing, walking, bending, stooping, reaching, lifting, and carrying, with or without reasonable accommodation
