Job summary

JOST International Corp in Michigan is seeking a Forklift Operator to move materials in warehouse and production areas, operate a forklift, and support timely delivery to lines. Qualifications

• Forklift operation knowledge and safe handling required.
• Ability to obtain forklift certification per company standards.
• Basic math skills as defined by company standards.
• Ability to read and write legibly as defined by company standards.
• Understanding of basic processes and product knowledge.
• Willingness to learn company quality procedures.
• Physical ability to lift up to 51 pounds as required.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklift to move materials in warehouse/production areas.
• Ensure materials are supplied to production lines efficiently.
• Load and unload trucks or carriers.
• Place finished products and materials in designated inventory areas.
• Rotate Kan-Ban materials to use oldest first.
• Perform daily forklift checks and basic maintenance.
• Verify labeling and proper placement of all moved materials.
• Accept additional related duties as assigned.
