New World Van Lines in Chicago, IL is seeking a Warehouse Manager to oversee receiving, warehousing and operations, coordinating and enforcing program, operational, and policies. Supervises movers and drivers to ensure efficient local and long-distance moves.

Qualifications

• CDL Class A with clean driving record and 5+ years in HHG warehouse work.
• Experience supervising moves and warehouse staff.
• Knowledge of SOP for international cargo.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and basic computer skills.
• Forklift certification or ability to obtain it.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day warehouse operations
• Maintain records and warehouse documentation
• Supervise loading outbound storage
• Supervise unloading and inbound storage
• Set up trailers and trucks for local moves
• Coordinate moves with customers and crews
• Train and retrain new hires
• Prepare reports including trailer and inventory
• Assist with fueling fleet as needed
• Perform other duties as required
