Job summary

Nextran Truck Centers in Atlanta/College Park, GA is seeking a Warehouse Manager to supervise daily warehouse operations, inbound/outbound logistics, and safety compliance. You will lead a team, monitor KPIs, coordinate with carriers, and maintain inventory accuracy.

Preferred candidates have an Associate degree and 5+ years of supervision experience in heavy-duty truck parts. Proficiency in Karmak/Fusion and forklift certification are a plus.

Qualifications

  • Associate degree preferred; equivalent work experience accepted.
  • 5+ years of warehouse supervision experience.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in inventory software Karmak/Fusion and basic computer applications.
  • Working knowledge of inventory control systems and logistics software.
  • Strong knowledge of truck parts terminology, SKUs, and inventory handling practices.
  • Familiarity with heavy parts handling and warehouse safety best practices.
  • Strong understanding of OSHA standards and workplace safety regulations.
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Forklift certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Manages daily activities of the warehouse including receiving, stocking, picking, packing, shipping and inventory control.
  • Supervise, train, schedule, and evaluate warehouse staff, ensuring safety and productivity standards.
  • Maintain inventory control procedures and document bin locations and quantities.
  • Coordinate inbound/outbound logistics with carriers and internal departments.
  • Enforce safety procedures and conduct inspections per OSHA and company policies.
  • Monitor KPIs and warehouse metrics to identify process improvements.
  • Implement and enforce SOPs to ensure efficiency and compliance.
  • Manage warehouse equipment and coordinate maintenance or repair as needed.
  • Collaborate with other departments to meet company objectives.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse.
  • Coordinate delivery routes and schedules with drivers and carriers.
  • Oversee remanufactured parts core management process.

As a Warehouse Manager, you are a valued member of our team, performing:

  • Manages the overall daily activities of the warehouse including receiving, stocking, picking, packing, shipping and inventory control.
  • Supervise, train, schedule, and evaluate warehouse employees to ensure optimal performance and adherence to safety and productivity standards, providing coaching, feedback, and hands-
  • Maintains inventory control procedures through cycle counts, and proper documentation of bin locations and quantity verifications
  • Coordinates inbound and outbound logistics with carriers and internal departments.
  • Enforces safety procedures and conducts regular inspections, ensuring compliance with OSHA and company policies
  • Monitors KPIs and warehouse metrics to identify areas for process improvement.
  • Implements and enforces standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure operational efficiency and compliance.
  • Manage warehouse equipment and coordinate maintenance or repair as needed.
  • Collaborate with other departments to meet company objectives.
  • Maintains cleanliness and organization of the warehouse
  • Maintains delivery routes and schedules, coordinating with delivery drivers and outbound freight carriers.
  • Oversees remanufactured parts core management process (from core credit to customer to processing returns to assigned location)
  • Monitors vehicle tracking software and vehicle maintenance
  • Performs other duties as assigned

Preferred Candidates have the following:

  • Associate’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field preferred; equivalent work experience accepted.
  • 5+ years of warehouse supervision experience, including staff supervision, preferably in heavy-duty truck parts industry.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in inventory software Karmak/Fusion and basic computer applications
  • Working knowledge of inventory control systems and logistics software.
  • Strong knowledge of truck parts terminology, SKUs, and inventory handling practices.

  • Able to do heavy work for short periods of time, handling heavy product in cold or hot and humid conditions, inside and out.
  • Ability to operate forklifts and other powered equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Occasionally will need to:
    • lift at least 75 lbs from floor to knuckle on an occasional basis,
    • lift at least 75 lbs from floor to waist on an occasional basis,
    • lift at least 40 lbs from floor to shoulder level on an occasional basis,
    • carry at least 75 lbs with two hands for a minimum distance of 5 feet on level surface,
    • pull horizontally with a peak force of 100 lbs with two hands
    • push horizontally with a peak force of 100 lbs with two hands
