Job summary

Crown Equipment Corporation is seeking a Warehouse Manager for its Distribution Center in the United States. The role leads daily operations to ensure safety, quality, productivity, and cost targets while managing schedules and budgets.

You will coach supervisors, drive continuous improvement, and resolve staffing or equipment challenges to maintain operational efficiency and high service levels.

Qualifications

• 5-7 years of experience in a supervisory or managerial role.
• Bachelor’s degree (Business, Supply Chain, Materials Management or related field) or 12+ years of related experience with a HS diploma/GED.
• Occasional travel and overnight stays (0-5%).

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee daily Distribution Center operations to achieve safety, quality, productivity, cost, customer satisfaction, and inventory goals.
• Manage production schedules, labor utilization, budgets, overtime, and expenses while driving continuous improvement.
• Provide leadership, coaching, and development for supervisors and employees to maintain a high-performance workforce.
• Identify and resolve operational challenges including staffing, material availability, equipment issues, and workflow disruptions.
• Support talent management activities including hiring, performance management, and disciplinary actions.
• Administer key functions such as payroll approval, attendance management, and cross-functional collaboration with HR and other partners.

Job Duties

• Lead and oversee daily Distribution Center operations to achieve goals related to safety, quality, productivity, cost, customer satisfaction, and inventory management.
• Manage production schedules, labor utilization, budgets, overtime, and operational expenses while driving continuous improvement initiatives.
• Provide leadership, coaching, and development for supervisors and employees, ensuring a high-performance, engaged workforce.
• Identify and resolve operational challenges, including staffing, material availability, equipment issues, and workflow disruptions to maintain operational efficiency.
• Support talent management activities, including hiring, performance management, employee development, succession planning, and disciplinary actions.
• Administer key departmental functions, including payroll approval, attendance management, employee documentation, policy compliance, and cross-functional collaboration with HR, Safety, Customer Service, and other business partners.

Minimum Qualifications

• 5-7 years of experience
• Bachelor’s degree (Business, Supply Chain, Materials Management or related field)
• Non-degree considered if 12+ years of related experience along with a high school diploma or GED
• Occasional travel and overnight stays (0-5%)
