Pool and Spa Depot in Bowling Green, KY is seeking a Warehouse Manager to lead all warehouse operations, staff, and processes. The role focuses on optimizing receiving, storage, picking, and shipping, while maintaining tight inventory controls and accurate records.

The successful candidate will implement efficient procedures, enforce safety guidelines, and drive continuous improvement. Flexibility for overtime, including Saturdays, is required in this role.

Responsibilities

• Manage all warehouse activities including receiving, storing, picking, and shipping materials.
• Review, analyze, modify, and implement efficient department processes, policies, and procedures.
• Maintain strict inventory control.
• Ensure accurate and timely shipments and receipts.
• Enforce safety guidelines and promote a safe workplace.
• Maintain records and metrics; conduct audits as needed.
• Perform quarterly/annual inventories and provide inventory reports.
• Process returned, rejected, and obsolete parts.
• Identify and implement opportunities for continuous improvement.
• Maintain working knowledge of operating systems related to the work area.
• Assign duties and monitor quality of work; ensure compliance with policies and regulations.
• Provide day-to-day guidance and recognition of performance.
• Monitor team activities and take corrective actions as needed.
• Perform other related duties as assigned; overtime including Saturdays.

Pool and Spa Depot is interviewing candidates for the position of Warehouse Manager, for our Bowling Green, KY Warehouse.

POSITION SUMMARY:

Manages and coordinates all warehouse activities, operations, and staff to ensure conformance to established procedures; implements practices that improve the effectiveness and financial performance of the supply chain.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Manages all warehouse activities in support of operations including but not limited to receiving, storing, picking, and shipping materials.
2. Reviews, analyzes, modifies, and implements efficient and effective department processes, policies, and procedures.
3. Maintains strict inventory control.
4. Ensures accurate and timely shipments and receipts.
5. Enforces established safety guidelines; promotes a safe workplace.
6. Maintains accurate records and metrics; audits as necessary.
7. Performs quarterly and/or annual physical inventories; provides inventory reports.
8. Processes returned, rejected, and obsolete parts.
9. Identifies, documents, and implements opportunities for continuous improvement.
10. Maintains a working knowledge of all operating systems pertaining to the work area.
11. Assigns duties and monitors quality of work; assures staff conforms to organizational policies and procedures and government regulations.
12. Provides day-to-day guidance and oversight of subordinates; actively works to promote and recognize performance.
13. Keeps up to date on overall activities of the team, identifying problem areas and taking corrective actions.
14. Performs other related duties as assigned by management.
15. Able to work overtime as needed, including Saturday
