Found Rental Co in Benicia, CA is seeking a Warehouse Manager to lead inventory, quality control, and daily operations of our luxury event furnishings. You will own processes that keep pieces pristine, organized, and rental-ready.

Collaborate across Sales, Design, FabLab and Logistics to anticipate needs, coordinate staging, loading, and deliveries, and uphold the Found Rentals standard of exceptional presentation and dependable service.

Responsibilities

• Inventory Supervision & Quality Control: Work with Inventory Manager to ensure inventory control, counts, damage tracking, organization, and 99%+ accuracy.
• QC procedures: Implement hands-on inspections, ensure pieces are clean, polished, painted, and rental ready for a luxury brand.
• Repair coordination: Work with Inventory manager and FabLab Manager to repair damaged inventory and keep it rentable.
• Storage and location updates: Ensure inventory is stored properly and updates are recorded in inventory control software.
• Post-event offloads: Oversee efficient offloads with damage assessment and reporting.
• Daily scheduling and cleanliness: Direct daily warehouse schedules, facility maintenance, and maintain a professional workspace.
• Operations supervision: Supervise warehouse operations, enforce protocols, and ensure brand integrity and presentation.
• Order fulfillment: Plan and optimize staging, picking, packing, and loading of outgoing orders.
• Warehouse layout: Strategically organize layout to maximize efficiency, capacity, and safety for high-value items.
• Loading/unloading: Oversee loading/unloading of trucks with inventory, QC, safety, and care.
• Equipment and safety: Maintain warehouse equipment and safety standards including forklift operations.
• Time management: Manage time verification, vacation, and communications; participate in MOD shifts.

Key Responsibilities

Inventory Supervision & Quality Control

• Work directly with the Inventory Manager to ensure inventory control, including physical counts, cycle counts, damage tracking, organization, fabrication and repairs, and organization, ensuring an almost 100% inventory accuracy.
• Work directly with the Inventory Manager to implement stringent quality control (QC) procedures for all items departing and returning. This includes hands‑on inspections, ensuring all pieces are clean, polished, painted, and rental ready, meeting the high expectations of a luxury brand.
• Work closely with the Inventory manager and FabLab Manager to quickly repair damaged inventory and keep it in pristine, rentable condition.
• Ensure all inventory is properly stored in the designated spaces within the warehouse. Any location changes are to be immediately updated in the inventory control software.
• Oversee proper post-event offloads, ensuring they are completed efficiently, accurately, and with immediate damage assessment and reporting.
• Direct the daily warehouse schedules, facility maintenance, and overall organization, upholding a clean, optimized and professional workspace.
• Supervise all warehouse operations, task execution, and enforce Found Rentals’ protocols, ensuring brand integrity, professionalism, and presentation of both inventory and crew.
• Plan and optimize the efficient staging, picking, packing, and loading of all outgoing orders, ensuring accuracy against pull sheets and timely departure.
• Strategically organize the warehouse layout to maximize efficiency, capacity, and safety, recognizing the need for specialized storage for high‑valued and/or delicate pieces.
• Oversee the proper loading and unloading of all trucks. This includes inventorying, quality control, safety, and transportation care for each item on an order.
• Maintain and proactively protect all warehouse equipment, vehicles, and forklifts, ensuring peak performance, readiness, and safety.
• Manage team time verification, vacation and sick approval, and manage the daily board, FabLab board updates, and the transfer process/communications.
• Participate in rotating Manager‑On‑Duty (MOD) assignments, including providing responsible field assistance when necessary.

Safety

• Conduct regular team meetings focused on safety, efficiency improvements, and inventory care best practices.
• Enforce and maintain all safety regulations (OSHA, etc.), creating a secure and responsible working environment.
• Lead all safety programs and ongoing training initiatives. Ensure adherence to all safety procedures (including forklift certification), providing comprehensive training for new and existing team members to ensure a safe and responsible environment.

Logistics and Cross-Functional Coordination

• Work closely with the Production and Logistics teams to ensure seamless installations by providing perfectly prepped, staged, and accounted for orders.
• Act as a critical communication facilitator between Sales, Production, Logistics, FabLab, and Warehouse teams to ensure smooth and accurate order transitions from booking to fulfillment.
