Job summary

Harrington Process Solutions in Tampa, FL, is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to manage daily warehouse operations, ensure accurate order picking, and uphold safety and regulatory standards.

You will directly supervise three or fewer warehouse/driver associates, participate in hiring, approve timecards, create schedules, and act as back-up driver when needed. A valid driver’s license, forklift experience, and strong leadership are required.

Qualifications

• Must have valid driver’s license and driving record acceptable to company insurance.
• Frequent lifting up to 20 pounds, occasional up to 75 pounds.
• HS diploma or equivalent or 1 year warehouse supervision experience.
• Proficiency with warehouse policies and procedures.
• Strong problem-solving and leadership skills.
• Ability to collaborate with all levels of staff.
• Ability to provide effective feedback.
• Forklift driving experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Data entry into computer and requisition forms to order materials.
• Prepare parcels for mail and perform inventory counts.
• Act as back-up when delivery driver is unavailable.

Responsibilities

• Direct supervision of three or less warehouse/driver associates. Participates in hiring process and formal performance evaluations. Approve timecards, create schedules as necessary.
• Ensuring the warehouse is secure, maintaining equipment and vehicles, and ensuring their safe use.
• Following federal, state, and local regulations for warehousing, shipping, and material handling.
• Creating systems for organization and communication and ensuring efficient space utilization.
• Maintaining health and safety standards, safety training certifications and ensuring the safety of staff.
• Read customer orders to determine items to be gathered and distributed.
• Convey materials and items from receiving areas to storage areas.
• Sort and place materials or items on racks or other storage areas according to predetermined sequence such as size, type, style, color, or product code.
• Assemble customer orders from stock and place orders on pallets or in boxes. Convey orders to staging areas and/or onto trucks for delivery.
• Mark materials with identifying information.
• Record amount of materials or items received and distributed.
• Perform data entry of records into the computer.
• Complete requisition forms to order materials from other company locations.
• Prepare parcels for mail. Perform physical counts of existing inventory and maintains inventory records.
• Act as back-up when delivery driver is unavailable.

Desired Skills And Experience

• Valid driver's license and a driving record acceptable to the company's insurance carrier
