Qualifications

  • High School or GED required; experience in warehouse operations preferred.
  • 5+ years in warehouse operations, inventory control, logistics, asset management, or related experience.
  • 1+ years leading teams or supervising employees.
  • Experience managing physical assets, inventory records, shipping docs, and return-to-inventory processes.
  • Knowledge of receiving, packing, shipping, freight coordination, Bills of Lading, parcel shipping, LTL, and truckload logistics.
  • High attention to detail and commitment to inventory accuracy, asset protection, and shipment quality.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently and with teams in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage competing priorities to meet business deliverables.
  • Class E driver’s license or ability to obtain within 90 days of hire.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, coach, and direct warehouse employees to meet daily priorities, deadlines, quality standards, and safety expectations.
  • Supervise day-to-day warehouse operations, managing assets through full lifecycle including inventory control, staging, prep, packing, shipping, receiving, and organization.
  • Establish efficient inventory practices based on asset utilization and space efficiency.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records in asset management systems (status, location, condition, ownership, availability, notes).
  • Conduct regular inventory audits and location checks; resolve discrepancies with operations and project teams.
  • Ensure outbound assets are properly prepared, labeled, and documented per project requirements and quality standards.
  • Oversee loading/unloading of assets and freight to prevent damage or safety incidents.
  • Manage client storage agreements and asset handling per agreements; coordinate renewals.
  • Serve as primary contact for warehouse questions and workflows.
  • Oversee receiving and inspection of returning assets for damage; escalate issues timely.
  • Identify missing components or repair needs and coordinate follow-up actions.
  • Coordinate repair, cleaning, disposal, or quarantine of damaged assets.
  • Manage inbound/outbound shipments (parcel, LTL, truckload, etc.).
  • Operate warehouse equipment safely (forklifts, pallet jacks, etc.).
  • Maintain warehouse equipment, supplies, and safety gear.
  • Maintain clean, organized, compliant warehouse per policies and OSHA.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

The Warehouse Manager is responsible for leading daily warehouse operations, supervising warehouse team members, and ensuring the accurate receiving, storage, preparation, packing, shipping, and return-to-inventory of company and client assets. This role maintains the integrity of Switch and client asset records, oversees warehouse workflow and organization, and partners with internal teams to ensure assets are complete, properly documented, and ready for client projects, events, and shipments. The Warehouse Manager promotes a safe, organized, accountable, and service-oriented warehouse environment.

Responsibilities
  • Lead, coach, and direct warehouse employees to ensure daily priorities, project deadlines, quality standards, and safety expectations are met. Provide clear direction and elevate performance, staffing, or operational concerns as needed.
  • Supervise day‑to‑day warehouse operations, managing company and client assets throughout the full warehouse lifecycle including inventory control, staging, asset preparation, packing, shipping, receiving, and warehouse organization.
  • Establish efficient inventory management practices based on asset utilization and efficient space utilization.
  • Maintain accurate, timely, and complete inventory records in asset management systems, including asset status, location, condition, ownership, availability, and disposition notes.
  • Conduct regular inventory audits, and location checks; research and resolve discrepancies in partnership with operations, project, and client teams.
  • Ensure outbound assets are pulled, packed, prepped, labeled, and documented completely and accurately according to project requirements, client expectations, shipping instructions, and internal quality standards.
  • Oversee proper loading and unloading of assets, materials, and freight to prevent damage, loss, or safety incidents.
  • Manage client storage agreements, ensuring client owned assets are maintained/destroyed as outlined in the agreement. Coordinates with Director, Corporate Services and/or Account Manager regarding agreement renewals.
  • Serves as a primary point of contact for warehouse‑related questions and workflows.
  • Oversee the receiving and inspection of returning assets for damage, verify condition, quantities, and completeness before returning items to inventory. Escalates issues timely to project teams.
  • Identify missing components, wear, contamination, or repair needs; document findings and coordinate follow‑up actions with appropriate internal teams.
  • Coordinate repair, cleaning, replacement, disposal, or quarantine of damaged, obsolete, incomplete, or client‑directed assets.
  • Manages inbound and outbound shipments, including small parcel, LTL, truckload, courier, and project‑specific transportation needs.
  • Operate warehouse equipment, including forklifts, pallet jacks, lifts, company vehicles, and other equipment, in accordance with training and safety requirements.
  • Maintain warehouse equipment, tools, shipping supplies, packing materials, and safety equipment needed for daily operations.
  • Maintain warehouse, racking, staging areas, aisles, and dock areas to support efficient workflows, asset protection, and inventory accuracy.
  • Promote and maintain a safe, clean, organized, and compliant warehouse environment in accordance with company standards, OSHA requirements, and applicable policies.
  • Maintain a positive, professional, and solutions‑focused attitude in a fast‑paced, deadline‑driven environment in compliance with Switch standards, policies, and guidelines.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
Required Minimum Qualifications
  • High School or GED equivalent or higher
  • 5 or more years of warehouse operations, inventory control, logistics, asset management, or related experience.
  • 1 or more years of experience leading teams or supervising employees.
  • Demonstrated experience managing physical assets, inventory records, shipping documentation, and return‑to‑inventory processes.
  • Working knowledge of receiving, packing, shipping, freight coordination, Bills of Lading, parcel shipping, LTL, and truckload logistics.
  • High attention to detail and commitment to inventory accuracy, asset protection, and shipment quality.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to identify and define problems, and present valid solutions to key stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Ability to navigate between competing priorities, quickly identify and manage prioritization, be able to meet business deliverables.
  • Possesses, or has the ability to obtain within 90 days of hire, a Class E driver’s license.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
Preferred Minimum Qualifications
  • Experience supporting tradeshow, event, experiential, fabrication, display, scenic, client program, or project‑based warehouse operations.
  • Experience using Flex or other asset management, warehouse management, inventory, ERP, or shipping software.
  • Experience coordinating freight, packing standards, and high‑value or client‑owned asset movement.
Physical Demands (refer to Addendum)
  • Ability to work in a warehouse environment with some exposure to outdoor conditions
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds and frequently lift or carry objects weighing up to 25 pounds.
