Job summary

Groundworks is seeking a Warehouse Manager to oversee warehouse functions at a California branch, ensuring safe operations, organized inventory, and timely distribution of materials. You will manage staff, coordinate with leadership, and maintain strong cross-department collaboration to support foundation repair and waterproofing projects.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years of warehouse management experience.
• OSHA knowledge and forklift license preferred but not required.
• Knowledge of structural foundations, waterproofing and related products is a plus.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to operate light commercial vehicles as needed.
• Comfortable with computers, tablets and common software.

Responsibilities

• Complete warehouse and distribution tasks for crews, customer work locations, and internal needs.
• Maintain a safe, clean work environment and organize inventory and tool rooms.
• Supervise and manage warehouse staff and workflows.
• Ensure receipt, coordination and safe handling of goods.
• Ensure orders are dispatched on time to the correct destinations and quantities.
• Coordinate with Branch and Senior Management to assess labor and output needs.
• Collaborate with other departments and locations across the organization.
• Read and analyze reports, data and statistics to guide decisions.

The Warehouse Manager oversees and coordinates warehouse functions specific to a Branch Location which overall supports the productivity of the Branch and organization related to foundation repair, waterproofing and concrete restoration. The Warehouse Manager facilitates an efficient and safe warehouse environment by ensuring that effective processes, procedures, and methods are utilized.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Completes a variety of tasks relating to warehouse and distribution of materials to crews, customer work locations and within the warehouse
• Manages a safe and clean work environment
• Organizes inventory area and tool room in warehouse based on operational best practices
• Supervises and manages warehouse staff
• Ensures the receipt, coordination and safety of goods coming through
• Ensures that orders arrive and are dispatched on time to the appropriate destinations and in the expected quantities
• Coordinates with Branch Management and Senior Management to assesses the labor and output needs for the warehouse
• Works with all departments and locations across the organization
• Ability to read and digest reports, data, statistics and similar information
• Provides leadership to build relationships crucial to the success of the organization
• Prioritizes conflicting needs, handles issues expeditiously, proactively, and follows-through on projects to successful completion
• Ability to operate or be trained to operate a forklift
• Occasional travel
• It is an essential function of this job that the employee regularly and reliably reports to work on time each working day.
• All other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• 2-5 Years of warehouse management experience
• Knowledge of current OSHA and Forklift Operators license preferred but not required
• Knowledge and understanding of structural foundations, waterproofing and products is a plus
• Excellent communication skills both written, oral/verbal required
• Ability to drive light commercial vehicles as required
• Ability to navigate comfortably on computers, tablets and computer software

Working Conditions

• This position is manual and physical in nature.
• This position requires on occasion lifting, pushing, pulling and/or carrying heavy objects up to and around 50 lbs or more.
• and may require walking and standing for extended periods of time.

The anticipated salary range is the expected hiring range for this role in California is $67,095.38 - $83,869.22.

Final compensation will be based on an evaluation of each candidate's qualifications, relevant experience, demonstrated capabilities, and work location.
