Job summary

White Cap is hiring a Warehouse Manager in Missouri to lead daily warehouse operations and ensure safe, efficient receiving, storage, and shipping of products. You will manage a team, schedule pickups, and drive continuous improvement in processes.

The role requires a track record of 5+ years in warehouse leadership, forklift familiarity, and a solid understanding of construction products. A valid MVR and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds are also expected.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in warehouse management.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods.
• Forklift experience is preferred; knowledge of construction products.
• MVR clearance required for vehicle operation.

Responsibilities

• Establish standard and emergency operating procedures for receiving, handling, storing, and shipping of products and materials.
• Plan, develop, and implement warehouse safety and security programs and activities.
• Review work orders, consumption reports, and demand forecasts to estimate peak delivery periods and issue work assignments.
• Lead a team of warehouse personnel engaged in receiving, storing, and shipping products or materials.
• Schedule pickup, delivery, or distribution of products or materials.
• Prepare or direct preparation of reports, and operations maintenance and safety manuals.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds in a physical environment.
• Ability to stand for periods of time up to and exceeding 60 minutes.
• Operate a company or personal vehicle with acceptable MVR.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

A Warehouse Manager at White Cap…

• This position requires operation of a company vehicle, or a personal vehicle and such operation is done consistently more than 20% of the average work week.
• A requirement of this position is an acceptable MVR report.

• Generally has 5+ years of experience.

Preferred Qualifications

• Forklift experience preferred.
• Knowledge of construction and industrial products.
• Spanish language proficiency.
