Job summary

Socket.dev is seeking a hands-on Warehouse Manager to oversee a 2,000-SKU warehouse. You will manage receiving, storage, and shipping, while supervising staff and ensuring accurate inventory control.

The role requires strong leadership, organizational skills, and the ability to operate and maintain warehouse systems. Experience with forklift equipment and a hands-on supervisory approach are a plus.

Qualifications

• Previous warehouse, logistics or distribution experience strongly preferred.
• Supervisory or team-lead experience is a plus.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills.
• Strong sense of responsibility and ownership, with the ability to work independently.
• Comfortable interacting with all levels of the company, from owners and general manager to warehouse staff.
• Able to lift and move boxes and pallets and remain active on one's feet throughout the workday.
• Willingness and ability to follow and enforce company procedures and safety policies.
• Forklift/pallet jack experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage and organize a 2,000-SKU warehouse, including receiving, inventory storage, stock locations and order fulfillment
• Coordinate and participate in the unloading of approximately 60–70 containers per year
• Prepare and load approximately 30–50 pallets per week for shipment throughout the country, either personally or by directing warehouse staff
• Supervise and direct one warehouse employee, including assigning daily tasks and ensuring work is completed accurately and efficiently
• Maintain accurate and organized inventory and stock locations
• Perform routine maintenance and basic troubleshooting of warehouse equipment
• Maintain a safe, clean and well-organized warehouse
• Identify and resolve day-to-day warehouse issues and ensure that work is completed on schedule
• Work closely with management and other departments to coordinate receiving and shipping activities

Warehouse Manager
