Job summary

Food Authority, INC is seeking a QA/Compliance leader to drive food safety programs and HACCP/GMP compliance across all operations. The role involves coordinating with vendors, external auditors, and internal teams to maintain top quality and regulatory standards.

The position supervises approximately 60 staff across multiple shifts, ensuring strict adherence to food safety practices and efficient processes.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Certifications in HACCP, GMP, Food safety preferred.
• 7 years in a related position; food manufacturing experience preferred.
• Ability to oversee multiple shifts (~60 employees) and ensure accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Develop, monitor, implement and train company policies and procedures.
• HACCP, GMP, and food safety oversight; audit coordination.
• Work with vendors, equipment suppliers, outside agencies and departments to assure safe quality food.
• Preside over federal, state and third-party audits/direct inspections.
• Perform various office functions including filing and typing.

Qualification Skills:

• Ability to oversee multiple shifts of approximately 60 employees in total.
• Attention to detail in all aspects of food warehousing practices.
• Organizational skills and leadership skills
• Computer skills, Microsoft word / office, excel, outlook, excellent memory, professional attitude, good typing abilities, ability to speak and write professionally in English, Bilingual a plus, Spanish,
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds
• Knowledge food regulation; HACCP, GMP, and food security
• Pest management knowledge, excellent communicator, able to multitask, must be organized, and Works well with others.

Requirements:

• High school diploma required.
• Certifications in HACCP, GMP, Food security, preferred.
• 7 years in a related position, experience in the food manufacturing environment preferred.
