Job summary

Fellers in Grapevine, TX is seeking a Warehouse Manager to oversee daily warehouse operations, supervise staff, manage inventory, and fulfill orders efficiently.

You will enforce safety policies, implement process improvements, coordinate with suppliers and cross-functional teams, and lead a 5–7 person team to drive accuracy and timely fulfillment. This role requires 5+ years of warehouse experience and strong organizational skills with WMS/ERP systems such as Netsuite.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to manage a team of 5 to 7 direct reports.
• Experience with 5S, Lean Methodology and Operational Excellence is a plus.

About the role

The Warehouse Manager is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the warehouse, including the supervision of staff, inventory management, and order fulfillment. This role will be responsible for following company and site-specific safety policies. This role will maintain inventory of the warehouse including receiving, issuing, and organizing materials for maximum efficiency; and preparing material daily.

What you'll do

• Responsible for hiring, training, and managing warehouse staff.
• Performs administrative activities associated with the effective management of warehouse operations and the prevention of inventory shrink, including performing cycle counts.
• Trains and ensures all assigned employees are aware of and comply with company, government, and customer policies, procedures, and regulations to include SOPs, Work Flows, WMS/ERP system processes.
• Ensures that merchandise is received and stored in an efficient and economical manner; and maintains required records in conformance with company policy.
• Discusses defective or unacceptable goods/services with inspection/quality control personnel, vendors, or others to determine source of trouble and takes corrective action.
• Reviews and analyzes reports and communicates results to management; collaborates with management to develop new policies, procedures and methods that improve operational efficiency.
• Creates an environment of continuous improvement and drives a culture of change management.
• Ability to walk, stand, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls, reach with hands and arms, climb or balance; and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
