Job summary

Target Specialty Products in Massachusetts seeks a Warehouse Manager to lead a team, optimize workflows, and safeguard inventory accuracy in a fast-paced environment. The role requires 4+ years in warehouse operations with multi-site supervision, a Bachelor's in business or logistics, and a proven record of improving efficiency and reducing costs.

Qualifications

  • 4+ years of experience in warehouse or branch operations management, with at least 3 years in a multi-site supervisory role.
  • Proven experience managing warehouse operations, including inventory control, order fulfillment, and staff supervision.
  • This role is accountable for compliance and maintenance of regulatory standards and reporting requirements and as such must maintain required permits, registrations, and/or licenses. These requirements may vary by state of employment

Responsibilities

  • Supervise, train, and develop a team of warehouse associates and supervisors.
  • Manage day-to-day warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, order fulfillment, packing, and shipping to ensure smooth workflow and on-time delivery.
  • Oversee inventory control processes, including stock levels, cycle counts, and loss prevention. Ensure inventory accuracy and proper product storage.
  • Identify inefficiencies in warehouse processes and implement improvements to optimize operations, reduce costs, and enhance productivity.
  • Ensure adherence to all safety protocols, OSHA standards, and company policies. Promote a culture of safety and ensure all equipment and tools are properly maintained.
  • Manage relationships with third-party suppliers and service providers, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery of goods and services.
  • Monitor and manage the warehouse budget, controlling costs while maintaining high standards of service.
  • Work closely with customer service teams to resolve issues related to product availability, order fulfillment, and shipping timelines.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key customers to ensure their needs are met and to support long-term business partnerships. Address customer concerns and inquiries related to warehouse operations and deliveries in a timely and professional manner.
  • Track key performance metrics (KPIs), analyze operational data, and prepare reports for senior management to inform decision-making.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to meet the ongoing needs of the warehouse and company operations. Duties, responsibilities, and activities may change or be adjusted as business requirements evolve.

Overview

Candidate Requirements
Education
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, logistics, supply chain management, or a related field.

Experience

  • Obtain and maintain all necessary certifications and licenses, including state-specific pest & turf industry certifications.
  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong understanding of warehouse management systems (WMS), inventory control, and distribution processes.
  • Knowledge of OSHA regulations, safety protocols, and compliance standards.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with all levels of the organization, customers, and third-party vendors.
  • Forklift certification preferred

Base Pay Range

Yearly: $61,600.00 - $100,100.00

While starting pay falls within the given range, it can vary based on factors like geographic location, skills, education, and experience. Total earnings may also be affected by overtime, incentives, commissions, performance, and route assignment (where applicable).
