Loyal Coffee Co. is seeking a Warehouse Manager for its Colorado Springs facility. You will lead the warehouse, production days, and the team, building schedules, distributing work, protecting inventory, coordinating shipments, and ensuring a safe, efficient operation.
This role is the operational heartbeat, solving logistical challenges with calm planning and clear communication. You will mentor staff, design processes, and partner with the Coffee Lead to translate coffee goals into reliable
Help turn logistic complexity into clarity.
Full time · 32–40 hours/week
$60,000–$70,000 per year
Behind every bag of coffee, every wholesale shipment, every cafe delivery, and every guest experience is a complex operation that has to work.
Our warehouse roasts coffee and produces cold brew, but it is also the logistical heartbeat of Loyal. Coffee, cafe supplies, merchandise, equipment, smallwares, promotional materials, replacement parts, and plenty of oddball things move through this space on their way to somewhere else.
The Warehouse Manager is the person who makes that complexity feel reliable.
This role is for someone who sees a messy process and immediately starts wondering how it could work better. Someone who likes building systems, organizing spaces, solving problems, helping people perform at their best, and being the person others know they can count on.
The Warehouse Manager leads the people, systems, safety, logistics, and daily rhythm of Loyal's warehouse and production operation.
You will lead production days, lead the team, write schedules, distribute work, protect inventory, coordinate incoming and outgoing shipments, oversee deliveries, maintain a safe warehouse environment, and help the production team work with clarity and pride.
You will also become one of the organization’s favorite answers to an operational problem. A cafe forgot glassware? “We’ve got you.”. A freight shipment is delayed by two weeks. \"We’ll make a plan\". A new ice machine needs to be received, stored safely, and moved to one of the cafes? \"We've got it covered.\"
A roaster does not turn on in the morning? The delivery driver gets rear-ended? A shipment arrives damaged? These are not interruptions to the job. They are the job.
We want someone who can meet those kinds of moments calmly, gather the facts, make a plan, communicate clearly, and help everyone around them keep moving forward.
Over time, you will become responsible for the daily operation of Loyal's warehouse and the team working within it. You will directly manage roasters and production assistants, build production and delivery schedules, delegate work, manage time-off and availability requests, provide coaching and feedback, and create a culture of accountability, hospitality, professional development, and pride in the work.
You will build and continually improve the systems behind production, fulfillment, receiving, shipping, storage, inventory, fleet use, equipment, and distribution. You will create SOPs, maintain useful records, improve workflows, and make the warehouse easier to understand and operate year after year.
Safety is a real responsibility here. This environment includes hot roasting equipment and combustibles, forklift work and pallet movement, heavy objects, packaging equipment, electrical and mechanical systems, vehicles, food production, and other hazards. You will learn and uphold applicable safety, food-production, and company standards while helping everyone around you develop good judgment and safe habits.
You will also own important financial constraints, especially labor and routine warehouse operating expenses. Good operations are organized, reliable, and financially sustainable.
You will work closely with the Coffee Lead / Buyer to translate the goal for each coffee into reliable production. If the Coffee Lead creates the recipe, you help build the kitchen that can reproduce it beautifully again and again. QC feedback becomes information your team uses to continually improve.
The warehouse also serves the rest of Loyal. You will help create an internal culture of hospitality where cafe teams, wholesale partners, vendors, guests, and coworkers experience the warehouse as responsive, prepared, and eager to help.
You do not need to arrive knowing how to manage every piece of warehouse equipment, write the perfect production schedule, conduct a difficult performance conversation, or design an inventory system from scratch. You will need to want to learn how.
You will work directly with ownership and mentors as you grow into the role. We expect questions. We expect mistakes. We expect feedback to be direct and useful. Our goal is to give you meaningful ownership while helping you develop the judgment and skills to carry more of it over time.
Experience in coffee, roasting, operations, logistics, warehousing, manufacturing, production, hospitality, project management, or people leadership is valuable.
It is not the only path into this role.
We are looking for reliability, organization, practical problem solving, strong communication, comfort with numbers and digital tools, mechanical curiosity, willingness to give and receive feedback, and a genuine desire to develop other people.
This is a physically active role in a working production warehouse. It requires regular standing and walking; bending, reaching, pushing, and pulling; safely lifting and carrying items up to 75 pounds; working around hot equipment, noise, dust, machinery, forklifts, and moving material; and operating or learning to safely operate warehouse equipment. The role also requires a valid driver's license and the ability to meet company insurance requirements for operating company vehicles. Required equipment and safety training can be provided, with reasonable accommodation where applicable.
This is a full-time position averaging 40 hours per week and can generally be performed within normal weekday working hours. The exact daily schedule has some flexibility and will develop around the rhythms of coffee buying, quality control, production, and collaboration with the rest of the team.
Occasionally, the work may ask for flexibility around a shipment arrival, production need, industry event, travel, or another time-sensitive part of the coffee calendar, but regular evening and weekend work is not an expectation of the role. We care most about building a sustainable working rhythm that allows you to be present when the work and the people you collaborate with need you.
