Blue Line Distribution, the in-house distributor for Little Caesars Pizza in Bethlehem, PA, seeks a Warehouse Manager to lead the warehouse team in strategic and daily operations. You will drive efficiency, safety, and cost reductions while aligning with the company’s policies and OSHA standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration or related field with 5+ years supervisory experience in warehousing.
• Strong knowledge of FDA and OSHA regulations and compliance requirements.
• Experience forecasting and managing operating budgets and department metrics.

We are now hiring for a Warehouse Manager in Bethlehem, PA.Your Mission:In this role, you will lead the warehouse department in strategic and day-to-day activities, from managing and overseeing warehouse operations to creating and managing warehouse goals identified in the strategic plan. Responsible for productivity goals and standards, OSHA compliance and safety, while providing industry-leading quality service. Drive efficiencies and cost reductions within the department through timely implementation of policies and procedures and effective management of the warehouse staff. Develop, communicate and implement local warehouse department policies and state, national and OSHA regulations. Staff responsibilities include managing the warehouse supervisors and indirectly warehouse colleagues. This position operates with discretion and authority.How You’ll Make an Impact:Directs supervisors in managing the warehouse and assure the most efficient receiving and loading schedule that satisfies customer delivery needs while ensuring the lowest total distribution cost per case.Develop and implement policies and procedures that increase efficiencies of the department that meet or exceed customer expectations, resulting in high customer service ratings.Interview, select, and train warehouse supervisors.Support and encourage an open-door policy to ensure open lines of communication with colleagues and respond to colleague issues or questions in a timely manner.Uncover, prioritize and eliminate issues at an operational and tactical level.Ensure colleagues follow all Blue Line policies and procedures in order to meet safety goals and guarantee that delivery schedules are consistently met.Coach and develop warehouse supervisors, including conducting performance management reviews and progressive disciplinary steps as necessary.Ensures warehouse equipment and Security Systems are properly maintained and functioning according to OSHA standards.Who You Are:Bachelor’s degree in business administration or related degree with minimum of five (5) years supervisory experience within the warehouse distribution industry, or equivalent of 8 years supervisory experience in the warehouse distribution industry.Possesses a strong understanding of FDA and OSHA compliance requirements, company policies and all national and state regulations and the ability to enforce them.Proven ability to build and maintain effective relationships and communicate with executive leadership, staff, customers and vendors.Prior experience forecasting and managing operating budgets as well as communicating variance.Previous experience with developing and adhering to department metrics.Evidence of ability to effectively work in a fast-paced environment, handling multiple concurrent priorities.Where You’ll Work:Distribution Center EnvironmentThis position requires the ability to work after normal business hours, evenings and weekends as necessary.Exposure to warehouse conditions.All items listed above are illustrative and not comprehensive.
