Job summary

White Cap is seeking a Warehouse Manager to lead receiving, storage, and shipping operations in a dynamic environment in the United States. The role requires planning safety programs, coordinating work orders, and guiding a team of warehouse personnel to meet demand.

Ideal candidates will have 5+ years of warehouse experience, forklift familiarity, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds. A valid MVR may be required for vehicle operation.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in warehouse management or supervisory roles.
• Forklift experience preferred.
• Spanish language proficiency is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Establish procedures for receiving, handling, storing, and shipping.
• Plan and implement warehouse safety and security programs.
• Review orders and forecasts to estimate peak delivery periods.
• Lead a team of warehouse personnel.
• Schedule pickups, deliveries, or distributions.
• Prepare reports and safety manuals.
• Lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods.
• Operate company or personal vehicle; MVR check required.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

A Warehouse Manager at White Cap…

• Establish standard and emergency operating procedures for receiving, handling, storing, and shipping of products and materials.

• Plan, develop, and implement warehouse safety and security programs and activities.

• Review work orders, consumption reports, and demand forecasts to estimate peak delivery periods and issue work assignments.

• Leads a team of warehouse personnel engaged in receiving, storing, and shipping products or materials.

• Schedule pickup, delivery, or distribution of products or materials.

• Prepare or direct preparation of reports, and operations maintenance and safety manuals.

• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds in a physical environment. Ability to stand for periods of time up to and exceeding 60 minutes.

• This position requires operation of a company vehicle, or a personal vehicle and such operation is done consistently more than 20% of the average work week. If selected for this position, the company will run a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) report. A requirement of this position is an acceptable MVR report.

• Performs other duties as assigned.

• Generally has 5+ years of experience.

Preferred Qualifications

• Forklift experience preferred.

• Knowledge of construction and industrial products.

• Spanish language proficiency.
