The role requires hands-on mechanical/electrical troubleshooting, reading blueprints, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs, with work under general supervision in a warehouse setting.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of experience in facility, industrial, or warehouse maintenance.
• Ability to read blueprints, wiring diagrams, and equipment manuals.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand/walk for extended periods, and work at heights.
• Basic computer skills for work order and inventory tracking systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance on conveyor systems, dock equipment, forklifts, pallet jacks, and material handling equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC issues within the facility.
• Respond to and prioritize work orders based on urgency and operational impact.
• Maintain accurate maintenance logs using a CMMS.
• Inspect dock doors, levelers, lighting, and safety equipment on a regular schedule.
• Perform minor building repairs (drywall, painting, fixtures, flooring).
• Order and maintain inventory of maintenance parts and supplies.
• Coordinate with outside vendors/contractors for specialized repairs.
• Follow all OSHA safety standards and lockout/tagout (LOTO) procedures.
• Operate power tools, hand tools, and diagnostic equipment safely.

The Warehouse Maintenance Worker is responsible for performing routine and preventive maintenance on warehouse equipment, machinery, and facility systems to ensure safe, efficient, and uninterrupted operations. This is an intermediate-level position requiring hands‑on mechanical/electrical troubleshooting ability and some independent judgment, working under general supervision.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance (PM) on conveyor systems, dock equipment, forklifts, pallet jacks, and material handling equipment
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC issues within the facility
• Respond to and prioritize work orders based on urgency and operational impact
• Maintain accurate maintenance logs using a CMMS (computerized maintenance management system)
• Inspect dock doors, levelers, lighting, and safety equipment on a regular schedule
• Perform minor building repairs (drywall, painting, fixtures, flooring)
• Order and maintain inventory of maintenance parts and supplies
• Coordinate with outside vendors/contractors for specialized repairs

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required; trade school/technical certification a plus
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand/walk for extended periods, and work at heights

Physical Requirements

• Frequent bending, kneeling, climbing ladders
• Work in varying warehouse temperatures (some non-climate-controlled areas)
• Use of PPE (safety glasses, gloves, steel-toe boots) required
