Job summary

Walmart is hiring for eComm Fulfillment Services maintenance roles at the Plainfield, IN distribution center. You will perform repairs and preventive maintenance on material handling and building equipment, using the CMMS to log work and track parts and warranties.

Roles include General Maintenance Associate, Maintenance Technician, Multi Skilled Technician, Ammonia Refrigeration Technician, and Maintenance Planner.

Qualifications

• Maintenance technician positions require experience in industrial maintenance and electronics.
• Experience with electrical/electronic systems and troubleshooting is preferred.
• Ability to read technical drawings and work safely in a warehouse environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform repairs and preventative maintenance on distribution center equipment and the building.
• Use CMMS to record work history, parts usage, and warranties, and to manage workload.
• Read blueprints/schematics to repair/maintain equipment and troubleshoot complex issues.
• Coordinate with operations and other technicians to support facilities maintenance.
• Operate material handling equipment and related powered equipment daily.
