Job summary

Kroger Family of Companies seeks an assistant for mechanics to support daily repair work and preventive maintenance. You will review logs, assist with repairs, conduct parts runs, and help ensure safety and policy compliance.

This role requires 18+ with a valid license, basic math, and the ability to multitask across shifts, including weekends. Training will be provided for equipment operation.

Qualifications

• Ability to read/interpret documents.
• Must be 18 years of age and have a valid drivers license.
• Willingness to continue education as necessary.
• Strong time management skills.
• Ability to learn to operate equipment (hand truck, pallet jack, power lift).
• Ability to present information in one-on-one or small group settings.
• Ability to multitask with accurate, on-time results.
• Ability to work various shifts including weekends and overtime.
• Basic math skills (counting, addition, subtraction).
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Ability to write routine reports/correspondence.
