Job summary

PFG Customized is seeking an entry-level Maintenance Mechanic in Lebanon, Tennessee. You will maintain and repair warehouse equipment, perform safety checks, and support daily operations on a Sunday night to Thursday night schedule. Training begins on day shift for one full month.

Starting pay is $18.00 to $19.50 per hour, commensurate with experience, with comprehensive benefits and opportunities for growth within America's food distribution system.

Qualifications

• 6+ months maintenance/industrial repair experience required.
• Basic multimeter knowledge/skill.
• Identify basic tools (Phillips vs Torx, prybar vs chisel).
• Stable work history and dependability.
• Able to work posted schedule and training schedule.
• Pass post-offer drug test and criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance, repairs, and installations on equipment.
• Maintain facilities and grounds per schedule and in emergencies.
• Conduct daily safety checks and keep area clean and organized.
• On-call rotation to support warehouse operations.
• Complete reports and paperwork at shift end.

Sunday Night - Thursday Night

11pm-7:30am

Entry Level Position: (Training will be 1 full month on day shift)

$18.00-$19.50 (based on experience)

Position Purpose

We value the safety of our associates! The Maintenance Mechanic keeps our associates safe by maintaining all equipment inside the warehouses/buildings and ensuring it meets industry standards and operates efficiently according to its specific tasks.

Responsibilities may include, but not limited to

• Obtains work schedule and daily production paperwork and prepare for operations. Performs daily safety checks.
• Performs maintenance, repairs, and installations on various equipment within guidelines of processes and standards.
• Maintains, replaces, builds, adjusts, and modifies the facilities, buildings, and the grounds according to a set schedule and in emergency and non-emergency situations.
• Performs general housekeeping duties and keep maintenance area orderly and clean as required. At the end of the shift secure all equipment and complete all necessary reports and paperwork.
• On Call rotation to support warehouse operations
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent

• 6+ months maintenance and industrial repair or related area (know how to operate a dock plate/truck restraint/sit down lift, pallet jack, etc.…)
• Basic multimeter knowledge/skill
• Identify basic tools such as Phillips vs Torx, prybar vs. chisel, etc.
• Stable work history with demonstrated reliability and dependability
• Able to work posted schedule and initial training schedule
• Pass post offer drug test and criminal background check
