Job summary

KeHE Distributors is seeking a dedicated Maintenance Associate to maintain warehouse cleanliness and perform general maintenance on buildings and equipment. This role involves operating powered equipment such as forklifts and scrubbers and managing various maintenance tasks while adhering to safety practices.

The successful candidate will possess a High School Diploma and have strong communication skills. This is a full-time position based in Stockton, California, with a pay range of $20.00 to $25.00 per hour depending on experience.

Responsibilities

Primary Responsibilities

The Maintenance Associate is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of the warehouse and providing general maintenance to the building, equipment and/or machinery.

Essential Functions

• Provide maintenance to equipment and conveyor system.
• General maintenance, cleaning and preventative maintenance to include, but not limited to: sweeping and cleaning floors, collection and removal of garbage, and dusting.
• Restock restroom supplies/toothbrushes as needed.
• While following safety procedures, ensure all cleaning materials are kept in well-marked, ventilated area.
• Paint as needed.
• Prep batteries daily.
• Operate powered equipment such as a forklift and scrubber.
• Change light fixtures in warehouse and offices as needed.
• Other duties and special projects as requested.
• Must maintain good attendance.
• Maintain safe work practices.
